DIREKT Certificate Lifecycle¶
Lifecycle¶
- requirement assigned;
- evidence drafted/uploaded;
- submitted;
- validated/reviewed;
- approved or action/rejection;
- effective/current;
- expiring soon;
- renewed, expired or revoked;
- retained/deleted according to policy.
Dates¶
Store issue, effective, expiry, review and next-check dates separately. Never infer validity solely from upload date.
Reminders¶
Provisional schedule:
- 60 days before expiry;
- 30 days;
- 7 days;
- expiry day;
- post-expiry action.
Adjust by category and certificate lead time.
Renewal¶
Renewal creates a new evidence version/check decision. The previous record remains historical. Approval may overlap to avoid unnecessary loss of continuity.
Expiry¶
At expiry:
- public claim becomes expired/removed according to copy policy;
- verification level recalculates;
- discovery filters update;
- provider receives action;
- provider profile may remain public only if minimum publication policy allows.
Revocation¶
Can result from issuing-body notice, fraud, provider correction or enforcement. Requires source, reason, effective time and appeal policy.
Retention¶
Expired/revoked evidence is not kept indefinitely by default. Legal, fraud, audit and appeal needs determine the approved period.
