DIREKT Certificate Lifecycle

Lifecycle

  1. requirement assigned;
  2. evidence drafted/uploaded;
  3. submitted;
  4. validated/reviewed;
  5. approved or action/rejection;
  6. effective/current;
  7. expiring soon;
  8. renewed, expired or revoked;
  9. retained/deleted according to policy.

Dates

Store issue, effective, expiry, review and next-check dates separately. Never infer validity solely from upload date.

Reminders

Provisional schedule:

  • 60 days before expiry;
  • 30 days;
  • 7 days;
  • expiry day;
  • post-expiry action.

Adjust by category and certificate lead time.

Renewal

Renewal creates a new evidence version/check decision. The previous record remains historical. Approval may overlap to avoid unnecessary loss of continuity.

Expiry

At expiry:

  • public claim becomes expired/removed according to copy policy;
  • verification level recalculates;
  • discovery filters update;
  • provider receives action;
  • provider profile may remain public only if minimum publication policy allows.

Revocation

Can result from issuing-body notice, fraud, provider correction or enforcement. Requires source, reason, effective time and appeal policy.

Retention

Expired/revoked evidence is not kept indefinitely by default. Legal, fraud, audit and appeal needs determine the approved period.
