Completion statement

VC1–VC8 is implemented, regression-verified, visually evidenced, documented and merged without replacing or weakening canonical backend, trust, privacy, authorization, commercial, integration or release authority.

Completed scope:

  • VC1 — design-system reconciliation: shared visual hierarchy, semantic iconography, responsive/adaptive tokens, accessibility rules, imagery policy and cross-surface Design DNA;
  • VC2 — benchmark direction: owner-authorized hybrid direction established for representative customer, provider and operations composition;
  • VC3 — component foundation: navigation, marketplace/search, provider/trust, provider workspace, operations mission-control and AI-assistance patterns implemented within the existing apps;
  • VC4 — customer experience: service/problem discovery, area-first search, provider cards/profile/trust explanation, responsive marketplace composition, manual fallback and truthful gated-map behavior modernized across applicable Android/PWA surfaces;
  • VC5 — provider workspace: professional provider overview/profile/evidence presentation implemented while preserving backend-authoritative scope and private evidence upload/recovery;
  • VC6 — operations mission control: desktop queue → case/evidence → checklist/decision composition implemented, with restricted-data AI inactive and consequential decisions human/server-authoritative;
  • VC7 — bounded AI intelligence: customer discovery intent assistance, grounded public Help, provider onboarding/readiness guidance and provider profile drafting implemented with source-controlled governance, evaluations, deterministic/manual fallback and fail-closed switches;
  • VC8 — world-class quality closure: permanent accessibility/AI-safety/privacy/fallback verification and reproducible synthetic visual evidence integrated into normal PWA and Android CI.

VC7 AI governance truth

Implemented use cases:

  1. optional natural-language customer discovery/category assistance with canonical taxonomy validation and explicit confirmation;
  2. grounded public Help constrained to approved DIREKT facts with source identifiers;
  3. provider onboarding/readiness guidance using provider-safe/synthetic context;
  4. provider public-profile drafting as an editable provider-confirmed draft only.

Controls include source-controlled purpose/data classification, prompt versions, input bounds, evaluations, authorization boundaries, deterministic/manual fallback and fail-closed kill switches.

AI cannot approve/reject provider verification, create or strengthen trust/publication/ranking, authorize payments, decide serious disputes/appeals, widen permissions or act as legal/regulatory authority.

Restricted evidence OCR/extraction, restricted operations case summarization and other restricted-data model use remain disabled until the separate privacy/security/data-processing/provider approvals and dedicated evaluation/runtime evidence required by the AI architecture exist.

  • .github/workflows/android-ci.yml owns native Android build/emulator/customer/provider/evidence captures.

The redundant standalone VC8 screenshot workflow was removed before final promotion.

Closure and handoff

  • Issue #259 closed as completed;
  • VC workstream lock released;
  • no active repository write lane remains;
  • RC2 Sentry under Issue #261 is the next planned bounded integration checkpoint and must claim a fresh lane from current merged main before source changes.

Boundaries still in force

VC1–VC8 completion does not authorize:

  • real Phase 11 participant/evidence execution or Phase 11J PROCEED;
  • production authentication/data cutover;
  • restricted evidence processing by an unapproved AI provider;
  • production AI authority;
  • uncontrolled real-participant/production external communications;
  • real money movement or escrow/customer-to-provider payments;
  • production release.

The integration status register remains authoritative for whether any provider is ACTIVE, IMPLEMENTED_GATED, SANDBOX_PROVEN, externally provisioned or disabled. Backend/integration readiness must not be conflated with production authorization.

VC1–VC8 is therefore closed as a product/visual/AI modernization programme, while all existing Phase 11, Phase 12, privacy/legal, external-integration, payment and production-release gates remain unchanged.
